full of life
smooth as the wind, basking
under saluting notes
Ears have no choice
but to sacrifice
their independence
to her songs floating by.

Sad but glad
a mixture of herbs
and spices, a suspicious
smile sitting on the curves
Anxious but weary
indissolubly
her legacy
sips wine.

Adversity
proved a stepping stone
but sadly
