I buttered the bread
on recommendation
It was evenly spread
To perfection
Six squeezed oranges
filled tall glass
Fresh garden beverage
up to task
A slice of melon
apple and couple of grapes
Milk for better digestion
of oat flakes
My girl was conscious
of her lovely figure
Varying breakfast
would greet her
A solitary pink carnation
quenched its thirst
Grown for this occasion
in the soils of Mauritius
She blew me a kiss
said “thank you darling”
I felt happiness
dancing
